Terms and Conditions

Definitions

The Company means Spectrum Training Services and any sub-contractor for the company.

In-house course means development courses offered by Spectrum Training Services for an individual corporate customer at a location specified by the customer.

Consulting means professional advice and analysis offered Spectrum Training Services at locations specified by the customer. Customer means the person, or corporation identified as requesting the services of Spectrum Training Services.

Confirmation means a legally binding contract document instructing Spectrum Training Services to invoice the Customer.

Delegate means a person attending an In-house course.

Course Materials means any documentation, listings instructions and statements in either machine-readable or printed form.

Working Day means every day of the week excluding Saturday, Sunday or Middle East designated weekends and UK statutory holidays.

General

These conditions shall be deemed to be incorporated in all contracts and in the case of any inconsistency with any order or letter or correspondence sent by the Customer to Spectrum Training Services or any other communication between the Customer and Spectrum Training Services whatever may be their respective dates and the provisions of these Conditions shall prevail unless expressly varied in writing and signed by Joy Wilson on behalf of Spectrum Training Services

If in any particular case any of these Conditions shall be held to be invalid or shall not apply to the contract the other conditions shall continue in full force and effect.

Warranty

Spectrum Training Services warrants that all courses and consulting supplied will be conducted in a professional manner in accordance with generally recognised practices and standards.

Spectrum Training Services warrants that it will provide appropriately qualified and experienced instructor(s) and consultant(s) to deliver public and in-house courses and consulting services using suitable materials, including course materials.

Spectrum Training Services warrants that it will not knowingly include any copyright material in its material without a license or without the consent of the copyright owner.

Spectrum Training Services warrants that all personnel provided by the company are employees of or contracted to Spectrum Training Services.

Extent of Services

Spectrum Training Services reserves full control of how its personnel will carry out its professional training and consultancy services.

The contents of course outlines are intended for general guidance only and do not form any part of a contract Spectrum Training Services has the right to make any reasonable variations to training and development courses to best meet the needs of the situation (including the content of the courses) without notice.

All public and In-house courses are delivered solely in the English language and all delegates must be sufficiently proficient with the English language before attending a course. However we have a wealth of experience in Middle Eastern markets and therefore we are proficient at teaching delegates for whom English is a second language, and/or working through interpreters and translators.

Authorization and Obligations of the Customer:

All bookings for courses must be supported by written confirmation. Including where appropriate a purchase order. Documentation should clearly describes the scope of the contract
International customer’s bookings will be reserved only upon receipt of a valid and non transferable flight and accommodation booking

The Customer certifies that unless otherwise notified to and agreed with Spectrum Training Services all delegates attending a course are employed directly by the customer or their contractor.

In all cases the customer undertakes to bring these terms and conditions to the attention of the delegates attending a public course to ensure they are suitably qualified and experienced to attend the course in accordance with any published prerequisites.

Fees/Charges

Prices are inclusive of tuition, and provision of course materials in electronic format unless otherwise stated,

The fee does not include any travel, accommodation or living expenses which the delegate or the instructor may incur in attending the course.

Fees quoted are based on details provided by the client. Hidden charges that were not foreseen by either party will be subject to renegotiation of the contract and the fee structure.

Prices quoted exclude VAT or other sales taxes which will be added at the current rate. Where a delegate is attending a public course in the UK, regardless of the delegate's country of origin, the point of supply for VAT purposes is the location of the course.

Spectrum Training Services reserves the right to charge interest on late payments at 2.5% over bank base rate.

Payment Terms

Spectrum Training Services will raise an invoice upon receipt of a confirmation for services. .For international customers 50% of the fee is requested within 10 days of confirmation.

Substitutions, Transfers and Cancellations by the Customer

The Customer may substitute a delegate on a course upon notification at no additional charge subject to the new delegate meeting the prerequisites.
In normal circumstances, a provisional booking will be held on Spectrum Training Services booking system for no more than 3 working days.

Cancellations and Transfer Policy

If you cancel your In-house course booking the following will apply:

  • More than 28 days prior to start date = No charge
  • 28-10 working days prior to start date = 50% of total Course Fee
  • Less than 10 working days prior to start date = 100% of total Course Fee

The customer will be entitled to a refund of any fee paid to Spectrum Training Services in the event of a cancellation or any change to the course date or significant change in venue but shall not otherwise be entitled to compensation or costs or damages arising from such a cancellation.

Prerequisites and Admission

Spectrum Training Services reserves the right to refuse admission to any person whom it considers in its absolute discretion to be unsuitable for admission to a Course.

Copyrights

Copyright and all intellectual property rights for all Course Materials shall remain the property of Spectrum Training Services or the trading partner of Spectrum Training Services responsible for developing that course.

The customer agrees not to reproduce, sell, hire or copy course materials (in whole or in part) and not to use such materials except for the purposes of post course reference.

Trimark Intellectual Property Consulting are our assigned consultants for the protection of our copyrights.

Materials posted on public domains must be acknowledged.

Legal Representation

Our Lawyer, Trimark – Mr Amjad Al-Amad will be happy to persue and infringement of our intellectual property.
